Guildrun Grace Build

Mystic Sustain Field

Fiona and Pollen layer shields / sustain; Grace is the panic button that recovers lost fights after Stall or wipe threats.

When to pick it: Choose when you keep seeing Mana Regen, Shield, or Mystic banners — or when enemy packs punish short fights and you need attrition tools.

How it plays

You are not racing for first blood. Cast often, shield the lowest HP hero, and win after the enemy spike fails. Mana Regen is both uptime and coverage — starve it and the whole plan dies.

Gameplan

  1. Secure Fiona or Pollen early for cast loops; Grace can be the third if you are dying to burst / wipes.
  2. Rank B toward economy (Fiona paths) or team shields — pick the path that fixes your current losses.
  3. Items: Mana Regen and cast payoffs before raw Magic stacks.
  4. Add one real frontliner via flex (Niklas / Gustav pocket tanks) once the support engine works.

Positioning

All three prefer back or second row. Put the tankiest flex (or a borrowed frontliner) ahead of them. Never leave Grace alone on a dive tile.

Core Heroes

Flex / Substitutes

Use these when a core pick is missing or the shop pushes a different angle.

Practical tips

  • This is a support core, not a full clear squad — borrow damage from items, events, or a fourth recruit.
  • If casts are rare, fix Mana Regen / Max Mana before buying more shield amulets.
  • Sal flexes when Frost control helps; Gustav when you want a shield-zone Mystic instead of Grace.

Strengths

  • Excellent at stabilizing messy mid-run boards
  • Turns long fights into wins
  • Grace covers resurrection / recovery mistakes

Weaknesses

  • Low native burst — bosses can race you
  • Needs frontline help from flex picks or items
  • Punished hard if Mystics get opened on
